I don't do much composite/special fx either, which Hitfilm does. I'll wait until March 2020 to activate it again for another year of upgrades. My 'free updates' expired at the end of last month. I have Ignite Pro 4.1 (which you will download, just like the latest version of Hitfilm Pro) and it works in VP17 just fine. The software is easy to use and there is a LOT of music. My expiration with them is Jan1 2020 and it would cost me $99 to renew for another year. The software will work with upgrades from the date you activate it.įilmstro I've been using for almost 3 years now. The keys for the software will expire if you do not use them before that date.
